In order to further ensure safe production and efficient and stable operation of generator sets in the Dapein (1) Hydropower Station in Myanmar, the overhaul of generator sets has been started as scheduled recently. At present, the rotor of the 2# generator set has been successfully lifted out, marking a stage victory of Level A overhaul of the 2# generator set of the Dapein (1) Hydropower Station in Myanmar.
In addition to normal maintenance, the Level A overhaul (expansion) of generator sets involves the transformation and upgrading of overflow components and excitation systems of the generator set, to greatly improve the equipment reliability and automation of the 2# generator set and lay a solid foundation for further digital transformation and intelligent construction in the hydropower station. The overhaul also provides learning opportunities for Burmese employees, including on-site training by technical backbones on production knowledge to young employees, and strengthening of learning and communication of Chinese and Burmese employees, thus enhancing employees’ skills.
The scheduled 85-day Level A overhaul will be completed in late January next year. For the purpose of Level A “superior generator set”, the overhaul will be performed in strict accordance with standard procedures. Technical measures, safety measures, and environmental protection measures will be taken conscientiously to efficiently complete the overhaul of the generator sets and supply high-quality and stable power in China and Myanmar, especially Bhamo in Myanmar.
