The Mandalay City Development Committee (MCDC) stated that a surprise inspection will be conducted at the Mandalay Zaycho market to prevent the sale and distribution of foods containing harmful dyes.
The combined team of the MCDC and the Food and Drug Administration Department will inspect the foods at the market and confiscate any foods containing prohibited dyes in order to ensure consumer safety.
Similarly, the other markets under the Mandalay City Development Committee (MCDC) will also be checked for foods that are not suitable to eat and foods containing prohibited dyes. — TWA/TRKM
