Tatmadaw Air Force fighter jet crashes during training flight

A regular fighter jet flying from the Tatmadaw (Air Force) TadaU Air Base crashed yesterday morning during a training flight in the training area.
The plane crashed during a regular training flight at the training area at around 10:43 am yesterday.
The plane was found to have crashed in Yemyatgyi Lake, east of Ohntaw village, Sagaing Township. The pilot, Captain Hein Htet Aung, was killed in the crash.
Authorities are checking the crash and detailed investigations are underway. —MNA
