A local patient is receiving treatment from Tatmadaw health team, at Yinmabin station hospital in Meiktila yesterday.

The Tatmadaw medics and nurses provided medical services to the locals as the staff and patients’ family members of station hospitals in Thazi, Han Zar and Yinmabin townships of Meiktila District in Mandalay Region, Takaung of Thabeikkyin township, Kyauktaga and Done Zayit station hospitals in Shwegyin township of Bago Region requested assistance from the region military hospitals.

The Tatmadaw medical corps provided the needed medical services, including operations to the local populace at these hospitals yesterday.

Similarly, the doctors and nurses of Mawlaik general hospital of Sagaing Region failed to do their duties, and only 1 nurse and 8 healthcare staff currently provide medical treatments to the local populace. Therefore, the residents asked for help from the North-West Command, and so the region command sent Tatmadaw medical team to offer medical treatment.

The commanders of respective region commands inspected the medical services for the local populace and comforted the patients. The military officials also provided food aids and instructed the necessary things. The residents are satisfied with the medical support of Tatmadaw.—MNA
