Tatmadaw medical team performs RDT on returnees in Mawlamyine

Due to difficulties in conducting necessary COVID-19 medical check-ups, Mon and Kayin states residents repatriated from abroad were in quarantine at the hostel of Mawlamyine University in Mawlamyine.
Military doctors, nurses and medics from the local military hospital in South-East Command in collaboration with members of the township administration body and CSOs performed Rapid Diagnostic Test (RDT) on 90 returnees at the quarantine centre yesterday.
The Tatmadaw hospital has conducted the COVID-19 medical check-ups to a total of 7,175 foreign returnees from 19 February to date.—MNA
