The Department of Higher Science and Technology under the Ministry of Science and Technology announced the last date of enrolment for the students who will attend technological universities and universities of computer studies.
In the announcement, these universities will admit enrolment of the students for first year (second semester) and those from second year to doctorate courses till 30 November including the weekend but will not accept the overdue enrolment.
A second-day coordination meeting of these universities was held at the meeting hall of the Ministry of Science and Technology on 19 November. In the meeting, Union Minister for Science and Technology Dr Myo Thein Kyaw said that it is important for nurturing of human resources to develop a country and fulfillment of infrastructures and teaching aid machinery. He instructed officials to manage computerization process for academic and student affairs at both kinds of universities, uplifting staff capacity and preparing to apply a credit system along with KG+12 curriculum for students.—TWA/GNLM
