Myanmar Women’s Futsal Team faced a shocked 0-7 loss to Thailand Team in their opening match of the NSDF Futsal Invitation Championship 2022 in Thailand yesterday.
On the first day of the group stage, the Thai All-Stars also beat the Australian club South Perth 3-0.
The Myanmar women’s team struggled as it was a competitive match about two months after the team’s formation.
As the Thai team is a big team in the ASEAN, they showed their epic skills to beat Myanmar easily by scoring two goals in the first half and five goals in the second half.
The Myanmar women’s team is playing in preparation for the SEA Games and will likely improve if they gain experience, Myanmar Football Federation officials said.
