Two companies allowed to produce sunflower oil via JV farming system in Kayah

The Kayah State Investment Committee approved two companies to grow and sell corn and sunflower through a joint venture farming system in Kayah State.
At the meeting of the Kayah State Investment Committee held on 27 October, the Chief Minister of Kayah State gave an order allowing the operation of Treasure Corn Agri Company Limited and Treasure Corn Company Limited, which will grow and sell corn and sunflower through a joint venture farming system, to the company officials.
Following Kayah State’s economic development process, it is important to invite local businessmen to invest mainly in the agriculture and livestock sectors and MSMEs.
The state chief minister said that priority should be given to investment in modern livestock industries, and efforts should be made to produce, distribute and sell quality local products. — TWA/KZL
