Two COVID-19 preventive health checkpoints opened in Wuntho

These checkpoints will strictly screen those people travelling into and out of the town to help stop the spread of the virus.

Two health checkpoints to screen travellers were formally opened in Wuntho township, Sagaing region, on 14 June to help stop the spread of COVID-19.
One is located in Shwe Wun Thidar gate, Wuntho-Kyauktone town, while another one is in Sawbwagyi gate, Wuntho-Namkham town. The checkpoints are opened with an aim to carry out systematic control and treatment activities against COVID-19.
The Township Administration Body chairman, Township administrator U Myint Tun and his team inspected the checkpoints and donated some food items and necessary products for the gate.
These checkpoints will strictly screen those people travelling into and out of the town to help stop the spread of the virus.
At the health checkpoints, the respective departmental authorities, township police force, the fire service staff and health volunteers from the charity organizations will check the temperature of the travellers and make sure that travellers are wearing masks. They are also taking record of the personal information of the travellers such as address and phone numbers. — Township IPRD/GNLM
