Two-mile paving work completed in Zadetgyi island coastal road

Upgrading of the Zadetgyi Island coastal road is underway.

The two miles paving work has been completed out of 66 miles of the Zadetgyi island coastal road in Kawthoung township, Kawthoung district of Taninthayi Region.
The process of paving work is conducted by the Progress of Border Areas and National Races Department of the Ministry of Border Affairs with K285.841 million of the Union fund during the six-month mini-budget period (October 2021-March 2022) for the development of border areas, according to the Taninthayi Region Development Supervisory Office.
The coastal road is upgraded to benefit 187 homes of 754 residents on Zadetgyi Island and enhance socio-economy, health, education, living standards and job opportunities. – MNA
