UEC Chairman inspects verification of ground population census for accuracy in basic voter lists

Union Election Commission Chairman U Thein Soe inspected the work processes to verify the ground population census for the accuracy of the basic voter lists at Thuwunna Youth Training Centre in Yangon together with relevant regional officials yesterday.
The process was being carried out by 100 staff – 45 staff members of the UEC office and from the Union Territory and 55 staff of the Yangon Region election sub-commission offices at the Thuwunna Youth Training Centre to verify the ground population census of Thingangyun and Tamway townships for the accuracy of basic voter lists. —MNA
