UEC inspects political parties under Election Commission Law

The Union Election Commission (UEC) is supervising the registration of political parties under Section 10 (l) of the Union Election Commission Law.
Party membership of political parties, raising party funds and resources, maintenance, use, auditing and liquidation and whether the party activities are carried out under the law are being inspected.
An inspection team consisting of departmental representatives from the Internal Revenue Department and the Bureau of Special Investigation led by members of the Union Election Commission U Myint Oo and Daw Nu Mra Zan investigated the Yangon-based Karen People’s Party, National Democratic Force, New National Democracy Party and the People’s Party from 7 to 11 February 2022. — MNA
