Unauthorized fibre and WiFi cables cleared in four townships

Unofficial fibre and Wi-Fi cables have been removed and cleared on 22 and 23 December in four townships in Yangon Region.
Yangon Electricity Supply Corporation (YESC) has announced a plan to remove the illegal fibre cables and Wi-Fi cables on lamp-posts.
Inspections were made whether the unofficial fibre cables and Wi-Fi cables had been removed and whether the official telecommunication companies properly installed the cables in accordance with the city’s specifications.
The electrical engineers and staff of Dagon Myothit (North) Township, Hlaing township, Pabedan Township and Bahan Township and employees of telecommunication companies made the inspections in their respective townships. — TWA/TKO
