Union Energy Minister meets officials from oil companies in Moscow

Union Minister U Ko Ko Lwin holds talks with officials from the Russian oil industry in Moscow during his observation tours.

Union Minister for Energy U Ko Ko Lwin and delegates who are in Moscow, Russia, met officials from four companies engaged in the oil industry and oil refining in Russia separately while attending the Sixth Russian Energy Week International Forum (REW).
During the meeting, they discussed the conditions for cooperation in ways to meet Myanmar’s energy needs.
The Union minister presented his view on technical assistance and investment issues needed to increase Myanmar’s oil and natural gas production and to produce petroleum products up to international standards. — MNA/KZL
