University openings foster peaceful study atmosphere for students

In a virtual conference yesterday morning, Union Minister for Education Dr Nyunt Pe engaged with university rectors and education degree college principals yesterday. The meeting was attended by Deputy Minister Dr Moe Zaw Tun, Permanent Secretary Dr Soe Win, and officials from the Ministry of Education.
Union Minister Dr Nyunt Pe announced the opening of all universities and degree colleges, emphasizing the commencement of studies. He urged faculty members to serve their teaching duties, emphasizing cooperation in the enrollment process. The Union minister stressed the need for collective efforts from rectors, pro-rectors, professors, and staff to create a conducive and supportive environment for students.
Highlighting the importance of continuous improvement in teaching and learning activities, the Union minister called for attention to the university’s image, cleanliness, and overall aesthetics. He urged a systematic approach to educational management for university development.
Following the Union minister’s overview, Deputy Minister Dr Moe Zaw Tun, the permanent secretary, and the director-general of the Department of Higher Education discussed forthcoming tasks. The Union minister concluded the meeting with a closing speech. — MNA/TS
