Upgrading Capacity-Building Refresher Course 2/2022 for Assistant Directors and Staff Officers closed

The closing ceremony of the Upgrading Capacity-Building Refresher Course 2/2022 for Assistant Directors and Staff Officers was held at 2:00 pm yesterday at the Assembly Hall of the Office of the Auditor-General of the Union, Nay Pyi Taw, in line with COVID-19 rules and regulations.
At the ceremony, Union Auditor-General Prof Dr Kan Zaw delivered the concluding speech that as the Assistant Directors and Staff Officers are the leaders of the audit parties who communicate with departments and organizations directly; the training aims to conduct the responsibility with confidence in themselves and the office; the trainees need to understand the audit objectives, meet the qualifications of middle-level management and conduct with unity and team spirit to obtain the best results; well understand of the organizational behavior is in order to conduct the audit process with quality; moreover knowing sharing about changes in audit practices to departments and organizations through good relationship with them.
Then, he mentioned that the trainees should try to be good civil servants involved in promoting public financial management honestly, under the laws, rules, and regulations, and always endeavour to strengthen the professional quality and professional ethics.
During the training for three weeks face to face, 21 Assistant Directors and 28 Staff Officers from the Head Office, a total of 49 trainees attended.
The permanent secretary, the director-general of Audit Department, the deputy permanent secretary, the deputy directors-general, responsible persons, trainers and accomplished trainees attended the ceremony. — GNLM
