Variety Show marking Diamond Jubilee Independence Day successfully completed

The sixth day of the variety show marking Diamond Jubilee Independence Day 2023 continued at the open-air theatre of Nay Pyi Taw City Hall yesterday evening and civil service staff families, Tatmadaw families, visitors and students watched the show.
At the variety show, the play “Athet Htet Myat Thaw Gon Thake Kha” (Dignity nobler than Life) was performed completely. The play was based on a true history and scripted by U Nan Nyunt Swe (Mandalay).
The Diamond Jubilee Independence Day Variety Show was the largest show to entertain the people who were under the pressure of Covid-19.
Artistes from film, theatrical and musical fields performed the show from 26 to 30 November, artistes under the Directorate of Public Relations and Psychological Warfare on 29 November and artistes from the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Culture on 30 November entertained the performances respectively at the open-air theatre of Nay Pyi Taw City Hall.
The play “Athet Htet Myat Thaw Gon Thake Kha” (Dignity nobler than Life) will be performed to the public at the National Theatre in Yangon in 2023, it is learnt. — MNA
