Veteran actor Myinsaingthar Aung Aung passes away at 74

According to U Aye Kyu Lay, Vice-Chairperson of the Myanmar Motion Pictures Organization (MMPO), senior actor Myinsaingthar Aung Aung, who achieved fame with the movie “Myinsaingthar”, has passed away. He was 74 years old at the time of his passing. He died due to heart disease at his home in Thingangyun township on the morning of 24 March. “We offer our deepest condolences as we have been together since he was a novice actor, and he became quite famous. He had a lengthy hospital treatment,” said U Aye Kyu Lay.
Myinsaingthar Aung Aung gained recognition through the movie “Myinsaingthar” and appeared in numerous films and MRTV-4 series as a supporting actor. Many colleagues in the acting industry mourn his passing, and his daughter Hay Marn Aung Aung expressed on her Facebook, “I am comforted knowing he can finally reunite with my mum in the afterlife.”
It is reported that his body will be cremated at Yayway Cemetery in North Okkalapa township. — ASH/ TWA/ TRKM
