Veteran artistes, artistes from MRTV-4 series visit progress of Maravijaya Buddha Image

A delegation comprising veteran artistes and artistes of MRTV-4 series, who had attended the Myanmar Academy Awarding ceremony, visited the Buddha Park in Dakkhinathiri Township, Nay Pyi Taw, yesterday morning, to pay home to Maravijaya Buddha Image.
An official presented a detailed explanation to the artiste groups on an aim to build the marble Buddha image, excavation of the marble rock, conveyance of the rock, carving of parts of the Buddha image, building the steel tower crane to convey the image onto the throne, cultivation of trees and flowery plants in the park for greening works, construction of religious buildings and progress of works.
After that, the artistes viewed round progress of the Maravijaya Buddha Image and religious buildings in the Buddha Park.—MNA/KZW
