Writer Daw Than Myint Aung visits Seezayeik Twilight Villa shortly after her release from jail

Writer Daw Than Myint Aung, who was charged under Section 505 (a) in February 2021, visited Seezayeik home for the aged as soon as she was released from the prison by the government on 4 January 2023, the Independence Day.
She served as vice-chair of Funeral Services (Yangon) and established Thukhayeikmyon Care Centre for Children Living with HIV/AIDS in 2005 and the Seezayeik home for the aged in April 2010.
When the Seezayeik was opened, there were only eight elderly citizens, and now there are over 100 elderly who are ailing or without any traceable family. —TWA/KTZH
