XIX Asian Games: Myanmar picks one bronze at Dragon Boat event

Team Myanmar earned one bronze in the 500-metre women’s Dragon Boat event at Wenzhou Dragon Boat Centre in Wenzhou, China yesterday.
The Chinese team won the first place, while the Indonesian team won the second place, and the Myanmar team won the third place among nine contestants.
In turn, the Myanmar men’s boat race team finished fifth in the 500-metre men’s Dragon Boat event.
Myanmar teams lost victories at the at Sepak Takraw men’s and women’s competitions held at Jinhau Sports Centre yesterday.
The Myanmar team will face India in the men’s Sepak Takraw event while the women’s Sepak Takraw team will take on Thailand today morning.
Team Myanmar will also join the women’s 1,000-metre Dragon Boat event this morning. — MNA/KZL
