Yangon battles Shan to a draw in Thuwunna thriller

Yangon United played defending champion Shan United to a 0-0 draw in Week 11 of the Myanmar National League 2022 second-round match at Thuwunna Stadium in Yangon yesterday.
Yesterday’s match between two former MNL champions was a thriller, with Taunggyi-based Shan United attacking from the start.
The excitement continued in the second half, resulting in sustained cheering and applause from the appreciative fans at Thuwunna Stadium.
Yangon players focused on breaking the tie score, but they could not change any opportunity to goals.
Both teams could not break the deadlock till the final whistle.
After the match, Shan United is still standing atop the Myanmar National League table with 10 wins and one draw while Yangon United is following Shan United with seven wins, two draws and two losses. — GNLM
