Yangon mayor inspects Nyaunghnapin Agriculture and Livestock Special Zone

Yangon mayor U Bo Htay, in his capacity as chairman of Yangon City Development Committee, inspected the Nyaunghnapin Agriculture and Livestock Special Zone in Hlegu Township, a special Zone area at the junction of M 5 and C 14 roads at Zone 2, repair work of the office and tower, construction of a small bridge over a drainage ditch in front of the office, repair work of restrooms and keeping office premises clean in the morning on 19 June.
Later, the party led by the Yangon mayor observed the manufacturing process of the EM Bokashi natural fertilizer from hyacinth from ditches and weeds from land repair and treatment for agriculture, construction of wholesale market at the special zone 1. He instructed officials to develop model farms in the zone.
Then, he inspected the construction of traffic islands and concrete slabs at the junction of Pyay and Hsatthataw Road to Nyaunghnapin and directed the officials to fulfil the needs.
After that, they arrived at Yangon Waste-to-Energy Plant in Shwepyitha Township and inspected the operations of the plant.
Finally, he asked the officials to prepare a healthy workplace and provide training for the employees to improve the capacity of the staff and ensure the safe disposal of waste. — MNA
