Yangon Railway Station opens enquiries for Bagan express train schedule

The Yangon-Bagan express train service is intended to operate daily. However, Myanma Railways has advised that passengers contact the Yangon station by dialling 01 251181 to confirm the daily schedule, as it is contingent on passenger numbers.
The scheduled Yangon-Bagan-Yangon direct express train will depart from Yangon at 4:15 pm and arrive in Bagan at noon the next day. It will leave Bagan at 4:15 pm and return to Yangon at noon the following day. The total travel time for one trip is expected to take 19 hours and 45 minutes.
The train will make stops at Thayawady, Letpadan, Minhla, Okpo, Gyobingauk, Zigon, Nattalin, Paungde, Patigon, Thegon, Sinmeezwe, Pyay (Shwetakha), Aunglan, Satthwa, Taungdwingyi, Myothit, Natmauk, Layeain, Tharmya, Pingchaung, Kyaukpadaung, Ngaminmay, and Suti. Ticket prices are K7,200 for the ordinary class, K14,400 for the upper class, and K19,800 for the sleeper. — TWA/TKO
