Yangon United sign with Yan Kyaw Htwe for two-year loan

Yangon United has confirmed the signing of a two-year contract with striker Yan Kyaw Htwe from Ayeyawady United, according to the team’s statement.
“Yan Kyaw Htwe, known as Kayah Lay among his teammates, was born in Loikaw Township, Kayah State. The five feet and nine inches high striker showcased his stunning performance the last season recording his name as a top scorer scoring 14 goals in total in Myanmar National League 2022,” team officials said.
Yangon United Head Coach U Kyaw Dunn expressed his happiness over the arrival of Yan Kyaw Htwe.
“I am impressed with his contribution to his previous club Ayeyawady last season, and he will be a fantastic addition to fill the attacking.”
“He made his professional career in 2012 by playing in the Nay Pyi Taw youth team and played for three years in the senior team. Then he moved to Manaw Myay in 2016, Zwekabin United in 2017-2018, Southern Myanmar in 2019-2020, and Ayeyawady United in 2022.
“It’s beyond my pleasure when I received an offer from this great club, and I will give everything for the badge to help bring us more success in local and international tournaments as well,” he added.—KZL
