According to the Yangon Region Gold Entrepreneurs Association (YGEA), YGEA launched selling pieces of gold (2.1 grains or 136.07 milligrammes) through the online system.
Those who want to collect gold can contact the YGEA and the Myanmar Gold Traders Association to enquire about the shops where they can purchase gold legally.
The system is being implemented in collaboration with a bank, and the software is being written. The system will be connected with other banks, gold shops, and entrepreneurs upon completion. — TWA/TKO
