YRTC to dismiss YBS drivers who run red light over 3 times

YBS drivers who have run the red light over three times will be dismissed, Yangon Region Public Transport Committee (YRTC) Vice-Chair U Chit Ko Ko said on 25 January at the awareness and education workshop for drivers 1/2023.
When YBS drivers run the red light, accidents are likely to occur, causing injuries and deaths. YBS drivers will not be allowed to run the red light at all and they will be monitored by YRTC with high-tech CCTV records and action will be taken, according to YRTC.
Vice-Chair U Chit Ko Ko said that effective action will be taken and drivers who violate the rules more than three times will be dismissed. — TWA/MKKS
