2 village administrators killed in Thantaunggyi, Kayin state

Terrorist groups deliberately assassinated a village administrator and a clerk to undermine the administration and the rule of law and instilling fear among the people in Thantaunggyi township, Kayin State, yesterday morning.
The incident happened while the victims were shopping in the village shop. The terrorists attacked them with small arms and fled away, killing U Yazar Win Shwe and Saw Sae Wah with gunshot wounds to the abdomen and right cheek.
It is reported that the security forces are investigating the case to take effective legal action against the perpetrators. – MNA
