2023 Inter-State & Region Aerobics sports competitions held

Members of the State Administration Council attended the opening event of the 2023 Inter-State and Region Aerobics sports held at Wunna Theikdi Stadium in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday morning.
“Aerobics” is a sport that can be practised and played for health by individuals and groups without the need for supporting equipment. If the whole country practices and plays widely, it will contribute to the “health and fitness of the whole nation” and it will be possible to develop a form of public sport in which the whole people can participate and play.
“We want the referees who will be judging the competition to make fair and correct decisions as per the rules,” said Union Minister for Sports and Youth Affairs U Min Thein Zan.
The competing athletes then recited the four oaths of sports. Senior competitions for nine competitors team, fitness dance competitions, and three competitor team and individual competitions will be held from 15 to 17 November, and 14 women’s teams from states and regions will compete in the championship. — MNA/KZL
