2,100 pregnant and breastfeeding women receive Covacin vaccines in Kyonpyaw Township

ovacin vaccine is being given to pregnant and breastfeeding women in Kyonpyaw Township, Ayeyawady Region in a timely manner.
As of 1 May, a total of 2,100 people have been vaccinated.
Township Administration Body Chairman U Zeya Min and members supervised the vaccination programme and pregnant and breastfeeding women from Aung San, Teza, Panglong, and Myawady Wards and Ahtaung, Myoma, Inye, Yaysakan and Daikpyet stations got the COVID vaccines.
To date, a total of 2,100 women: 393 pregnant and 1,707 breastfeeding mothers have been vaccinated, according to the health officials.
Those who have already been vaccinated will need a second dose from 24 May. The vaccine is still being given to pregnant and lactating women in the township who need to be vaccinated.—La Pyae Oo (IPRD)/GNLM
