2nd coord meeting of Diamond Jubilee Independence Day Reception and Dinner Organizing Work Committee held

The second coordination meeting for the successful holding of the Diamond Jubilee Independence Day Reception and Dinner was held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs yesterday.
The meeting was attended by Chairman of the Work Committee for the Diamond Jubilee Independence Day Reception and Dinner Union Minister of Foreign Affairs U Wunna Maung Lwin and work committee members, Chairpersons of working groups and officials from relevant departments.
At the meeting, the Union minister gave an opening speech and stressed to the Diamond Jubilee Independence Day Central Committee to seek approval of the activities to be carried out by the work committee for the successful holding of the Diamond Jubilee Independence Day Reception and Dinner.
Activities were to be coordinated with other work committees; and recommendations were discussed by the Union minister, based on the explanations given by those who attended the meeting.
Next, the Union minister gave his closing speech and concluded the meeting. — MNA/KZL
