419 Myanmar workers sent to ROK via EPS in February

The Public Overseas Employment Agency (POEA) sent 419 Myanmar workers to the Republic of Korea via Employment Permit System (EPS) in February, according to Myanmar Embassy in Seoul.

The embassy’s data showed 152 new manufacturing workers were sent to ROK via EPS on 14 February.

Another 267 new manufacturing workers arrived at Incheon airport from Yangon on 26 by Korean Air KE 9492 (Charter Flight).

Labour Attaché of the embassy met the workers at the airport, briefed them on do’s and don’ts and provided assistance.

In the 16th Korean language test to be held in 2024 for the seventh time under grading system, the Republic of Korea will recruit more Myanmar workers of both sexes in service sector for the first time.
