51st Myanmar Health Research Congress continues its 4th day

The fourth-day session of the 51st Myanmar Health Research Congress organized by the Ministry of Health was held at the Department of Medical Research in Yangon yesterday.
The review of the current situation on human resources for health based on the success of a quality universal healthcare system in Myanmar by 2030, identification of strategies and commitments were discussed under the topic “Myanmar Health Workforce for the SDG and 2030 UHC Targets: Situational Analysis, Strategies and Commitments”.
The director-general of the Department of Human Resources for Health discussed the leading role of the department in the development of human resources for health, cooperation with international organizations and commitments, and the status of implementation of the quality assurance system in universities and schools. Queries and suggestions raised by professors and scholars were also responded to and discussed.
In the afternoon, a paper reading session was held where researchers presented a total of 11 research papers and attendees put forward their suggestions. — MNA/TS
