60th graduation ceremony held in Yangon

The Ministry of Religious Affairs and Culture held the 60th graduation ceremony yesterday afternoon in Yangon.

Chairman of the State Sangha Maha Nayaka Association Abhidhaza Maha Ratta Guru Abhidhaza Agga Maha Saddhamma Zawtika Sayadaw Bhaddanta Kumara Biwunsa of Bhamo Monastery, Mandalay and honourable monks who passed the Dhammasariya examination and the first examination of Pali were present at the ceremony.

Union Minister for Religious Affairs and Culture U Ko Ko and wife, Chairman of the Yangon Region Administration Council U Hla Soe and wife, and officials also attended the ceremony and conferred certificates and degrees to the honourable monks who passed the exams with honours and donated alms and rice to the monks who passed the exams. —MNA
