7 YBS lines set to facilitate return trip for people during New Year Festival

Yangon Region Public Transport Committee (YRTC) Joint Secretary U Lian Cin Mang said that seven YBS bus lines will run for the convenience of people coming to the New Year festival to be held at People’s Square on 31 December.
“The New Year Festival will be held at the People’s Square. It will start at 6:00 pm. YBS buses will be arranged to facilitate the people who will come there at night,” U Lian Cin Mang said.
YBS-21 of Power Eleven Public Co Ltd will run from People’s Square-Insein-Yangon Western University (Htantabin) while YBS-61 of Khit Thit Bayintnaung Company will run from People’s Square- Technological University (Hlinethaya) and YBS-37 of YBPC Co Ltd will run from People’s Square-Pyay Road-8th Mile-Htaukkyant-Mingaladon.
The YBS-115 of the YUPT Public Co Ltd will run from People’s Square-Sule and People’s Square-North Okkalapa-Htaukkyant-Laydauntkan-Sanpya Market to Dagon University. Likewise, YBS-7 will run from People’s Square- Tamway-No (2) Highway (South Dagon), and YBS-8 will run from People’s Square-Thakayta- Yuzana Garden (Dagon Seikkan), according to the YRTC.
The same programme will be set on Independence Day on 4 January 2014. — MT/KZL
