COVID-19 immunization conducted to monks, nuns and civil service personnel

Tatmadaw and civilian doctors are vaccinating an over 65-year-old woman.

Tatmadaw has been working together with civilian doctors who did not participate in the CDM campaign to conduct COVID-19 immunization and they vaccinated COVID-19 vaccines to people over the age of 65 including monks, nuns and civil service personnel across the country yesterday.

The vaccination was conducted in Lashio, Laukkai, Kunlong, Kutkai, Namhsan, Mongyai, Mantung, Namhkam, Hsipaw,Nawnghkio, Kyaukme, Hopan, Mongmit and Mabein, Taunggyi, Hopong, Yaksawk, Pindaya, Kalaw, Pinlaung, Kengtung, Mongkai, Kunhing, Karli, Mongshu, Langkho, Maukmai and Namsang, Kengtawng, Tachilek, Mongphyat, Mongyawng,Monghkat, Monghsat, Mongton, Mongyan, Mongpyin, Metmung townships in Shan State; Pathein Township in Ayeyawady Region; Sagaing and Shwebo townships in Sagaing Region; Chanmyaythazi township in Mandalay Region; Toungoo, Okpo, Letpadan, Minhla, Monyo, Gyobingauk, Zigon, Nattalin, Thayawady and Padaung townships in Bago Region.

Chairmen of the respective region administration councils and officials from the respective regional commands encouraged and donated offertories to the monks.—MNA
