ONE Championship: Eersel beat Haida to retain kickboxing world title

Regian Eersel of Suriname retained his ONE Championship kickboxing world title by beating Mustapha Haida of Italy in the main card of the ONE Championship Fists of Fury III event under the Men’s Lightweight Kickboxing World Championship category held on 19 March at Singapore Indoor Stadium, Singapore.
In the main bout, both fighters relied on incredible power and stamina, but better fighter managed to shape the victory, and after the entire fight, the Immortal (alias) Regian Eersel defeated “Dynamite” (alias) Mustapha Haida via unanimous decision. In the Atomweight Muay Thai bout, “JT” (alias) Janet Todd beat Alma Juniku via unanimous decision.
In the Strawweight bout, Hiroba Minowa made a win against “Little Rock” (alias) Alex Silva viaa split decision. In the other Strawweight bout, Jenelyn Olsim claimed the victory after knocking out Maira Mazar via submission (power guillotine) at 0:41 minute of round three. In the Flyweight fight, Roshan Mainam earned a sweet win by knocking out “The Krauser” (alias) Aziz Calim via submission (rear-naked choke) at 2:45 minute of round one.
In the other Flyweight event, “Wolf Warrior” (alias) Hu Yong beat “Y2K” (alias) Yodkaikaew Fairtex via unanimous decision.—GNLM
