Teachers urged to teach pupils without discrimination

The Ministry of Education will accept teachers who delayed joining their jobs for various reasons within six months, said Union Minister for Education Dr Nyunt Pe in meeting education officers at different levels and school heads of basic education schools in Mandalay Region at No 16 Basic Education High School in Chanayethazan Township yesterday.
The Union minister invited education families to report their difficulties. He noted that as the prestige of teachers is the noblest, they have to accept the concept of the perpetual teacher to turn out good and able generations for the State. He reminded the teachers to teach pupils without discrimination by giving an equal term of rights.
Education officers and school heads reported on requirements of teachers, buildings and libraries. The Union minister attended to the needs.
The Union minister met faculty members from universities and colleges under the Department of Higher Education at Mandalay University on 16 May, calling for managing education families under the disciplines and inviting the reports on requirements of their institutions.
The faculty members reported on completed tasks and tasks underway, infrastructures and academic matters. The Union minister fulfilled their needs. — MNA
