SAC member meets venerable Sayadaw, fire victims in Hopong of Shan State

State Administration Council Member Khun San Lwin pays homage to U Candobhasa of Panlyan Monastery in Hopong Township in Shan State (South) yesterday.

State Administration Council Member Khun San Lwin paid homage to abbot U Candobhasa of Panlyan Monastery at the monastery in Panlyan Village, Sangaw Village-tract, Hopong Township, Pa-O Self-Administered Zone in Shan State (South) yesterday morning.
The State Administration Council Member and officials then donated offertories to members of the Sangha.
The State Administration Council Member donated K5 million each for re-construction of relevant monasteries to abbots of Panlyan and Ponel monasteries in Panlyan and Ponel villages destroyed by fire of terrorists.
Next, they met with fire victims from Panlyan and Namhu villages and inspected progress of rebuilding the houses.
At Pa-O Self-Administered Zone Administration Body Office, the SAC member heard reports on rehabilitation of Hsihseng and fulfilled the needs. — MNA/KZL
