The malicious media outlet Khit Thit intentionally fabricated misinformation, alleging that Tatmadaw security forces set ablaze and destroyed Chaungtawwa Village in Madaya Township, Mandalay Region, claiming that more than 20 houses were destroyed.
According to a security official, terrorists taking cover in the village school launched gunfire at security forces conducting security measures on 4 May near Chaungtawwa Village. An exchange of fire occurred between the two sides. In retreating from the scene, terrorists set houses within the village ablaze, resulting in their destruction. Additionally, a security officer elaborated that hand-made mines were seized within the school compound.
The subversive media are spreading false news on social media to tarnish the reputation of the Tatmadaw security forces, despite the fact that PDF terrorists are disrupting regional stability and administrative mechanisms in towns and villages. — MNA/ TMT
