Vice-Chairman-1 of the Myanmar Press Council U Ohn Maung (Myinmu Maung Naing Moe) receves vaccination of COVID-19.

Members of Myanmar Press Council, including the council Chairman and the Vice-Chairman, received the COVID-19 vaccines yesterday at the Mingaladon Township Public Health Department, Yangon.
“People should receive the vaccine. A writer urged his friends to get vaccinated after fighting against the COVID-19 as he had a hard time to recover from the disease since he didn’t want to be vaccinated,” said Vice-Chairman-1 of the Myanmar Press Council U Ohn Maung (Myinmu Maung Naing Moe).
“We are grateful that the government has arranged the vaccination,” he added.
The Ministry of Health has been administering the Sinopharm COVID-19 vaccines in respective regions and states to senior citizens over the age of 65, departmental staff, healthcare workers and volunteers. Yesterday, a total of 500 people were vaccinated at the Mingaladon Township Public Health Department.
The people will have to receive the second dose of the vaccine after 28 days since it is a two-dose regimen.—Nyein Thu (MNA)/GNLM
