Workers in Thongwa receive second dose of COVID vaccines

Under the auspices of the COVID-19 Disease Control and Emergency Response Committee, healthcare workers gave the second dose of COVID-19 vaccines to workers outside the industrial zone at Myanmar Traditional Chin Lone Hall, Thongwa Township, Yangon Region on 12 October.
Recipients printed via the computer system were given as a record for the injection, officials said.
Next, the workers received the vaccines and they were monitored for side effects.
A total of 520 people received the COVID-19 vaccines on 11 October, and 726 people on 12 October, respectively.
Vaccination was carried out by members of the Township Administration Body, General Administration Department, the Department of Public Health, and the Red Cross, officials added. —MNA
