First dose of COVID vaccination continues for third day in Hlaingbwe

The fourth batch (first dose) of COVID-19 vaccine was given to people over 45-year-old, people with disabilities, battalions and troops from ethnic armed groups, migrant people from temporary camps, people with chronic and non-communicable diseases at Aung San Hall, Hlaingbwe Township, Hpa-an District, Kayin State yesterday morning.
Health workers, members of the Red Cross and other relevant authorities provided masks to those who received the COVID-19 vaccine.
Next officials measured the body temperature, blood pressure and monitoring oxygen level before the vaccination.
Vaccines were given systematically to the people, and only those with normal conditions are vaccinated. After resting for about 15 minutes after being vaccinated, people were allowed to leave, officials said.
In Hlaingbwe Township, a total of 4,905 people were vaccinated at Aung San Hall of Hlaingbwe Township, Shwe Gun Station Hospital, Myaing Gyi Ngu Station Hospital and Paikyon Station Hospital as of 10 October. —Hlaingbwe IPRD/GNLM
