National Solidarity and Peace Negotiation Committee poses for documentary photo together with those from 14 political parties.

The National Solidarity and Peace Negotiation Committee held a meeting with political parties yesterday morning in Nay Pyi Taw.
The meeting was attended by Chairman of the committee Union Minister at the Union Government Office (1) Lt-Gen Yar Pyae and committee members, chairmen and vice-chairmen of 14 political parties and officials.
At the meeting, Union Minister Lt-Gen Yar Pyae and Chairman of the Myanmar National Congress Party U Kaung Myint Htut on behalf of the political parties addressed the meeting. Afterward, Secretary of the Committee Lt-Gen Min Naung and Committee Member Lt-Gen Win Bo Shein explained the peace process and the current peace activities, and attendees discussed peace and electoral procedures.
Chairman of the Federal Union Party U Saw Than Myint on behalf of the political parties, and Union Minister Lt-Gen Yar Pyae concluded the meeting.—MNA
