Following the announcement of reopening schools on 1 November 2021 in various parts of Myanmar, arrangements are being made in schools to welcome students back under the COVID-19 prevention guidelines.
Yesterday, members of the Myanmar Police Force, Fire Brigade, Red Cross Society, charitable organizations, ward/village administrators, and teachers carried out a collective cleaning in basic education schools in Kyauktaga Township, Bago Region. There are a total of 228 basic education schools in Kyauktaga Township, and every student who enrolled in those schools will continue to be able to access education, according to the Township Education Department.
The Chairman and officials of the Township Administration Body, township police and education officials assisted the activity as necessary.—Khin Ko (Kyauktaga)/GNLM
