Mobile library team visits Myataung IDP camp weekly

To increase knowledge, habit of reading and studying literature for young people in their spare time, staff of the Township Information and Public Relations Department jointly conducted a weekly Mobile Library field visit at Myataung IDP, Buthidaung Township, Rakhine State at 1 pm yesterday.
Officials lent 60 books including readers’ favourite books of agriculture, livestock, general knowledge, fiction, cartoon, magazines, and journals among others to the youths and literary enthusiasts from Myataung IDP camp and people who participated in the reading programme.
The Buthidaung Township Information and Public Relations Department will conduct a Mobile Library field visit every Monday, and yesterday’s field visit was carried out following the COVID-19 directives, officials said. —Hla Kyaw (IPRD)/GNLM
