Myanmar joins 22nd International Conference of Chief Justice of the World

Union Supreme Court Judge U Myo Tint joined the Webinar of the 22nd International Conference of Chief Justice of the World, which was held from 19 to 22 November via videoconferencing.
The event was presided over by the City Montessori School (CMS) in Lucknow of India and the Chief Justices, Judges and world leaders participated in it.
The conference was organized under the theme of “Global Governance for a Sustainable World Order”, and it focused on international terrorism, the establishment of international norms as the lawless actions and impacts of the global environment pose a threat to humanity, creation of global integration and peace and safe future for human beings.
On the third day of the event on 21 November, Union Supreme Court Judge U Myo Tint discussed the topic of “Climate Change and Sustainable Development in Myanmar: The Role of the Judiciary”.
Union Supreme Court Judge U Myo Tint joined the four-day conference together with Director Daw Marlar Maw of International Relations and Research Department for the Union Supreme Court. —MNA
