Five-year-old girl dies amidst explosion in Chanmyathazi Township

A child is dead due to a bomb blast by terrorists.

A five-year-old girl was killed in a grenade attack by terrorists in Chanmyathazi Township, Mandalay Region.
The incident took place on 6 December at around 6:30 pm as terrorists came to the Aungthaya Ward Administration Office on 110th Road, between 45th and 46th Streets in Chanmyathazi Township, Mandalay Region and fled on two motorcycles with two grenades.
The bomb struck in front of a betel-quid shop on 110th Road. A five-year-old girl was seriously wounded in the blast and taken to Mandalay General Hospital, where she died of her injuries.
Security forces have been searching for those who were involved in violent acts of leaving a five-year-old innocent girl dead, and the locals are urged to cooperate with the community peace. — MNA
