AFF Suzuki Cup: Myanmar to play Timor-Leste today

The second day of Group A of the 2020 ASEAN Suzuki Cup in Singapore will continue and the Myanmar men’s national team will play against the Timor-Leste team today.
The second day will be played between the Myanmar team and Timor-Leste team at 4 pm Myanmar Standard Time today.
The match between the Philippines and host Singapore will be played at 7 pm Myanmar Standard Time.
This match is important for team Myanmar which lost in the first match of the group and only if they win can hope to advance to the next stage.
Of the three remaining matches, the match against Timor-Leste is likely to be the easiest one for Myanmar. Team Myanmar will next play against Thailand and the Philippines after the match. Timor-Leste is likely to struggle this match as they lost 0-2 to Thailand in the opening match.
Hosts Singapore, who beat Myanmar 3-0, will continue to play against the Philippines, with a chance of advancing to the next round. —Ko Nyi Lay/GNLM
