The MoTC Union minister inspects the Machinery Workshop (Mahlwagon) of the Myanma Railways (MR).

Union minister for Transport and Communications Admiral Tin Aung San conducted an inspection tour to Machinery Workshop (Mahlwagon) of the Myanma Railways (MR) in Mingala Taungnyunt Township of Yangon on 12 December.
During the visit, the General Manager (Civil) of MR and senior engineer of workshop reported on the production of rail equipment and hand-operated materials, maintenance of engineering equipment, department-owned machineries used in railway upgrade work, allocation of machineries and other maintenances.
On the explanations of the officials, the Union minister said it should produce quality materials to meet the demands of work sites. It also needs to check the machineries in accordance with the Maintenance Manual, to keep the systematic Log Books and to follow the Safety Plan for work site. He then highlighted the needs to ensure the skills of staff who operate the machinery and maintenance, Safety Equipment and preventive measures of COVID-19.
He finally inspected the new rail-track maintenance equipment and other materials and instructed the necessary things regarding the proper use of machinery and Function Test. — MNA
